What's the differnce between licencing and registering my boat? - licencing a boat in on tario
If you have the boat be used for business (fishing guide, for example), then you need a license. If you have a sport fishing license is required. Some countries (not mine) requires that all boat operators license.
The ship does not need a license, at least not in an area that I know.
To my knowledge, allows people and businesses to cover things up.
