I have a very short marriage (30 minutes) in December in Jamaica. Since JA is almost always much sun there is a concern for the comfort of guests. In addition, the surface is irregular and therefore more tents are more expensive. I am not prepared to spend a lot of money for only half an hour. So I thought maybe a homemade substance pure (spread) canopy, more light and give an ethereal effect to a wedding garden. Suggestions, whether it is a good idea or a less expensive stores.

I planned a desert wedding for one of my girlfriends.
You have right in saying that the shops are very expensive. But building your own will be expensive and a pain in the ass.
What we have for them was done to each guest with a braided umbrella and a paper fan palm. They were in baskets as guests arrived and decided that they wanted. Embelished I tied on a label, then it has reduced premiums and unused items. Each chair is placed a bottle of water. Everyone was totally relaxed, even in the heat of 110 degrees.
